Choosing a Wedding Cake
for some, can be a long process. The best way to decide on a style is to
compare it to the type of wedding that you are planning on having. For a
classy, elegant Wedding you may choose fresh flowers in pale colors. For a
romantic Wedding you might choose deep tones such as reds, burgundies and
pinks. Or you might decide on a non classic cake and go with bright and bold
colors. From stacked to columns to floating cakes on pedestals, we are here to
help you make your ideas come to life.
Always request a cake tasting no matter where you decide to
get your cake from. Most bakeries give a free tasting. Remember to go with
fillings that can stand up to the time of year such as in the hot days of
summer. We do not recommend custard or ganache unless the reception is in an
indoor and air conditioned room. If you choose a filling that contains liqueur
make sure you have at least one cake filling that is fruit such as lemon or
raspberry. And after all is done and decided upon remember to have fun.
It's your special day so keep it that way.
